About Taylor Reay
Taylor Reay is a professional decorating company based in Martock, Somerset, specialising in high quality interior and exterior painting for homes and businesses across the surrounding area.
Founded by Anthony Taylor, the company was built on a simple belief: decorating should be carried out with care, professionalism and attention to detail from start to finish.
After many years working across the property and construction industry, Anthony saw first hand how often homeowners were left frustrated by unreliable trades, rushed work and poor communication. Taylor Reay was created to offer something better; a decorating service built on trust, consistency and pride in the finished result.
Today, the company focuses exclusively on professional decorating projects, from single room redecorations to full property interiors and exterior repaints. Every project is approached with the same principles: proper preparation, quality materials and a clean, respectful approach to working in clients’ homes.
A note from our Founder
Before founding Taylor Reay, Anthony spent over ten years working in the live entertainment industry, producing and managing large scale theatrical productions across the UK.
In that world, precision, organisation and attention to detail are everything. Every element must come together perfectly to create the final result.
Those same principles now guide how Taylor Reay approaches decorating projects today.
From careful preparation to the final finish, the focus is always on delivering work that is completed professionally, with pride and attention to detail.
While the industry may be different, the mindset remains the same: every project deserves to be completed to the highest possible standard.

From March 2026, Taylor Reay transistioned to all electric as part of our commitment to reducing our environmental impact.
We aim to work responsibly by using quality materials, minimising waste where possible and work with trusted suppliers who share our commitment to high standards.
While great decorating is about preparation and finish, we believe it should also be carried out with respect for the homes we work in and the environment around us.
Accredited & Approved
At Taylor Reay, we prioritise safety and have implemented a comprehensive Health and Safety policy that guides every project. In addition, we carry full public and employers liability insurance coverage .
Our team are qualified and fully vetted, with DBS checks performed regularly when working in Schools, Hospitals, and other commercial environments.
Safety is always a top priority
Before embarking on any project, we conduct thorough risk assessments and method statements.
We prioritise the safety of everyone involved, which is why we also provide a complete health and safety pack containing our insurance certificates and policies well in advance of the project commencement.
